Police said that when Mena was refused service, he grew irate and started shouting profanities at the manager and wait staff, which made them feel uncomfortable.

Mena allegedly refused the manager’s request to leave the premises.

An off-duty Oak Lawn cop identified himself and asked Mena to leave the restaurant. Mena again refused and continued to shout profanities.

The off-duty cop escorted Mena out of the restaurant, where he was met in the parking lot by responding officers.

The manager signed complaints for disorderly conduct and police told Mena not to return to Hooters, reports said.

Mena was placed under arrest and transported to the Oak Lawn police station. He has a court hearing on March 12.
