THURSDAY, MAY 24

iPhone Goes Missing From Stroller

An iPhone was stolen out of a stroller parked on the front steps of a home in the 6200 block of El Morro Lane. The victim said she left the phone in the cup holder for “five minutes” when she went inside the house, according to the report. The phone went missing some time between 6 and 7:30 p.m.

Woman Hit By Cadillac Refuses Treatment

A 25-year-old woman was hit by a car while walking on 159th Street, according to a police report. The woman called 911 after she was unable to get a hold of family. She told police she was walking to her apartment and, while crossing 159th Street near LeClaire Avenue, was hit by a black Cadillac heading eastbound at around 4:15 a.m. The woman said she landed on her head after the car had caused her leg to lift into the air. She refused medical treatment.

Tinley Park Woman in Scuffle at Doctor's Office

Karen A. Munzer, 40, of 9241 Pleasant in Tinley Park, was charged with battery. Witinesses told Oak Forest police that Munzer became angry with and threw charts at someone in an Oak Forest doctor’s office. She then fled and was later picked up by Tinley Park police. Munzer’s bond is set at $1,500.

SATURDAY, MAY 26

Fake $20 Bills Found on Street

Several fake $20 bills were found lying along Frontage Road between the Best Western and Kilbourne Avenue at about 7 p.m. The numerous bills were lying in the grass. They were only printed on one side. Someone who was passing by at the time told police the bills had been lying there the previous day.

TUESDAY, MAY 29

Domestic Battery Arrest

Christopher A. Krueger, 46, of 5110 159th St. in Oak Forest was charged with domestic battery on May 29. According to the report, the victim told police Krueger had shoved and slapped her.
