Oak Forest police reports, Feb. 14–21.

SATURDAY, FEB. 18

Lost Lawn Ornaments?

A temple-like lawn ornament is missing two of its three pieces, its owner told police. Parts of the black stone Pagoda, valued at $500, were stolen from the 6200 block of Daniels Street. Only the base of the structure was left behind.

Swindled Spirits

An unknown man made off with four bottles of Ciroc vodka without paying, a Jewel employee told police. The employee spotted the theft on surveillance video, and told police he recognized the man from other instances. If the man returns to the store, the employee will identify him. The bottles of vodka were valued at $157.16.

Vigilant Neighbor

A man was fetching his mail when he noticed that the door of his neighbor's home had been kicked in. The unknown burglar stole a TV and other assorted electronics before packing the items into a van parked in the driveway. Officers on the scene were unable to reach the homeowner.
