Siphoned Gas

Someone drilled a hole and siphoned gas from the tank of a Ford van parked at Rental Max, in the 15200 block of Cicero Avenue. Total damage is estimated at $500.

Dog Bites Pizza Delivery Guy

A man was bitten by a terrier as he attempted to deliver a pizza to the dog's owners in the 15500 block of Lamon Avenue. The delivery guy entered through the garage, where he encountered the dog. Police filled out a Cook County bite report. The case was turned over to Animal Control.

A Suspicious Man and Thwarted Robbery Attempt

A homeowner in the 16400 block of Laura Lane turned away someone claiming to work on a fence next door. The visitor, described to police as an Hispanic male, asked the homeowner to step into the backyard to examine the property line. The homeowner noticed a late-model purple van parked nearby, with two men, also described as Hispanic. The homeowner refused to step outside his the home, and the men drove off.

Brick at the Window

Someone threw a brick at the window of a man's 1995 Ford pickup, causing minor damage to the windshield and the hood.

Stolen Cents

Someone stole 50 cents from the front compartment of a car parked in the 15600 block of Lapaz. There were no signs of forced entry.
