Damage to Vehicle

A resident in the 15700 block of Terrace Drive reported that someone had piled garbage on top of his van and scratched it with an unknown object in the overnight hours.

Retail Theft

The manager of CVS Pharmacy, 15840 S. Cicero Ave., reported that someone grabbed two bottles of hard alcohol and left around 3:15 p.m.

Domestic Battery

Christopher M. Waugh, 28, of the 15800 block of South Ridgeland Avenue in Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Waugh pushed a woman and also kicked her television at the residence just before 12:30 a.m. after an argument, police said. Waugh appeared in court July 11.

FRIDAY, JULY 8

Credit Card Fraud

A resident in the 4900 block of Sycamore Lane reported that someone either withdrew or charged over $2,000 to his account between July 3 and July 8 after the resident lost his credit card.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 6

Building Window Broken

A man reported that a rear window had been broken in a building that houses several businesses at 6000 West 159th St. The incident happened between 1 and 5 p.m.

Eggs Thrown at Home

A woman in the 15200 block of Walnut Road reported that some juveniles had thrown eggs thrown at her home just after midnight.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

A woman in the 5900 block of Edward Drive reported that someone took $5 from her car’s center console and ransacked the car sometime between July 3 and July 6.

TUESDAY, JULY 5

Identity Theft

A man in the 5100 block of Hawthorne Road reported that sometime between July 1 and July 5, someone withdrew $500 from his bank account.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle—for Tokens

A woman in the 15400 block of Las Flores Avenue reported that someone took her insurance card and 10 Chuck E. Cheese tokens from her unlocked car sometime overnight.

Ace Hardware Window Broken

An officer on patrol saw that a large window pane on the Ace Hardware at 15441 South Cicero Avenue had been broken sometime overnight, according to a police report.

MONDAY, JULY 4

Metra Lot Vandalism

A city employee reported that someone had broken three panes of glass near the pay boxes at the Arbor Metra Parking Lot, 15900 Oak Ave., between 6 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.
