Oak Forest Police reports, Sept. 28-Oct. 2

SUNDAY, OCT. 2

Battery

Harry L. Jarm, 52, of the 16400 block of Roy Street in Oak Forest, was charged with battery, said. Officers responded to the address after hearing a report of a fight between neighbors. The accuser said Jarm punched him after the accuser's pit bull ran up to the truck around 1 p.m., according to the report.

Criminal Damage to Property

Colin S. Zieroth, 24, of the 11700 block of Ridgeland Avenue in Worth, was charged with criminal damage to property, police said. Police responded to the 15300 block of James Drive when Zieroth had attempted to gain entry around 7:30 p.m. and broke off the screen-door handle, police said. Earlier in the day, Zieroth had come to retrieve his belongings and left without incident, but was denied access when he returned later that evening, according to the report.

Criminal Damage

A Western Springs man reported that the outside coach light on a residence he was rehabbing in the 4400 block of Adele had been broken sometime overnight, police said.
