Police Blotter Extra: Orland Park Police Charge Oak Forest Resident with Pot Possession

Police report finding a glass pipe and two bags of cannabis after spotting erratic driving.

On Thursday, Aug. 11, Orland Park Police charged William A. Lehn, 25, of the 8800 block of Ashbrook Drive in West Chester, Ohio, with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer. Brittany L. Arrington, 22, of the 5400 block of Margie Lane in Oak Forest, was cited for possession of cannabis. An officer on patrol in the 7200 block of 159th Street saw Arrington cross into the median twice while driving 49 in a 40 mph zone at 3:25 a.m., according to the police report. While speaking with Arrington, the officer smelled alcohol and cannabis coming from the car, the report said. Arrington later passed field sobriety tests. During the tests, Lehn began to shout toward Arrington, police said. Lehn was seen leaning over to the driver's seat and leaving the car, according to the report. Police found a glass pipe in the cup holder, as well as two bags of cannabis, the report said.
