Oak Forest's Top Cop a Finalist for Chief Position in Champaign

Oak Forest Police Chief Greg Anderson is one of four candidates in final interviews for police chief of Champaign, Illinois.

Gregory Anderson might be leaving for a new chief position, in Champaign, Illinois.

Anderson is one of four candidates in final consideration to replace retiring Champaign Police Chief R.T. Finney, according to the News-Gazette. The four will be interviewed next week by members of a 24-person advisory board. On Dec. 8, they will have a televised "conversation with the candidates." During the public event, each will issue personal statements and answer pre-determined questions from citizens.
