Oak Forest Police Issue 28 Citations During St. Patrick's Day Stretch

Police stopped 26 motorists for not wearing their seat belts.

Oak Forest police kept a close eye out for motorists not wearing their seat belts around the St. Patrick's Day holiday. 

From March 13 through March 17, Oak Forest police officers stopped 26 motorists and issued 28 citations to occupants not wearing their seat belts.

The federally funded enforcement campaign was facilitated by the Illinois Department of Transportation in association with the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over and Click It or Ticket campaigns.
