MANHUNT MONDAY: Have You Seen Victor Nieto?

Every Monday Patch highlights one of Cook County's most wanted fugitives.

This week’s fugitive focuses on Victor Nieto, who is wanted on a warrant for reckless homicide with a weapon.

According to the charge on the Cook County Sheriff’s Police website:

"Nieto was driving with a friend when he went through a red light, through an intersection and struck the passenger side of an oncoming car.  The victim was thrown from her vehicle and died of head injuries.  Nieto and his friend ran from the scene, then later returned, where police conducted sobriety tests.  Nieto blew a .0143 BAC. Nieto did not have a valid driver's license."

Nietro, 35, is a male Hispanic. He has black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in the 4800 block of South Marshfield Avenue in Chicago.
