Killer Sentenced to 90 Years for Murder at Terrace Motel in Oak Forest

Terrell Randall shot his girlfriend and ex-girlfriend on the same day in 2011.

Terrell Randall, who shot two women within 24 hours of each other in 2011, killing one, was sentenced to 90 years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend.

Randall, 32, shot Tonnisha Johnson, 28, of Hazel Crest, on Aug. 26, 2011, outside the Terrace Motel in Oak Forest where the two were staying. He shot her three times in the back after an argument. She identified Randall as the shooter before going into a coma. She died a few weeks later of her injuries.

About three hours after shooting Johnson, he shot his former girlfriend in Markham, police said.

Randall was apprehended in Lansing later that day after a police manhunt.

His sentence for Johnson's murder was handed down earlier this week. Randall has yet to go to trial for the shooting of his ex-girlfriend but is due in court in July.
