Marcelino Jara-Xolo, 27, of the 500 block of 159th Street, Oak Forest, was charged with possessing a controlled substance, according to a report.

Oak Forest officers responded to a call at about 3:27 p.m. near the intersection of 159th Street and Le Claire Avenue on a report of a group of men fighting, police said. One man, Jara-Xolo, was spotted drinking from an open can of Modelo beer. During questioning, Jara-Xolo opened his wallet and a folded dollar bill fell to the ground.

Jara-Xolo then tried to walk away, at which time officers detained him, police said. The folded bill contained 0.7 grams of a white powder that later field tested positive for cocaine.
