SATURDAY, AUG. 25

Pop the Trunk

A victim in the 15600 block of Lamon Avenue told police that sometime during the night, an unknown person(s) removed several items from the trunk of their car. Police noted that the car had its trunk lock broken, as well as the rear passenger window being shattered. The victim told police nothing was removed from the interior of the car.

Now How Will I Know Where I'm Going?

The victim of a burglary from a motor vehicle in the 16900 Cicero Avenue told police that an unknown person(s) removed two GPS units from their trunk, which was unlocked and parked in their driveway. The victim said there were no personal markings on the units, nor did they know a model number.

That's Not Your Money

Police were notified by a victim in the 6200 block of 157th Street that somebody was using their bank account illegally. The victim told officers that two unauthorized transactions, one for $174.80 and another for $92.86 were made. The victim was told to report the incident to the police, and then canceled their card.
