UPDATED: 5 Boats Damaged in Fire; No Injuries

The All Seasons Marine building saw little damage other than smoke damage, but boats inside were damaged. The cause is still under investigation.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that damaged five boats inside All Seasons Marine Shop Tuesday night.

"We know which boat it started in, we just don't know why," said Oak Forest Fire Chief Terry Lipinski.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night, to reports of smoke billowing from the roof. When they arrived, they found several boats inside the facility on fire, Lipinski said. 

No employees were inside the building; the owners had left roughly an hour before the fire, Lipinski said.

The building itself received minimal damage, other than smoke damage, he said.

As many as 13 emergency and fire vehicles were on the scene of a fire at All Seasons Marine Shop, 15335 S. Cicero late Tuesday night.

Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, the call came in as "heavy black smoke coming from the roof" of the building, according to responders in the call center at the . As of 10:45 p.m., firefighters were still on the scene.
