Chicago Area's Cutest Couple: South Suburban Pair Married 33 Years

Who will be crowned Patch's Cutest Couple in the Chicago Area? Put down the chocolates, turn down the Barry White and let's find out.

We asked our Chicago area Patch readers to show us just how cute a couple they make with their significant other. The couples were competing for the title of Cutest Couple, with a giftcard toward a night out in Chicago on the line.

So which couple gave our readers that loving feeling this Valentine's Day?

"If you're looking for the epitome of cute in the Chicago area, look no further than Bob and Eileen Stillwell," one reader wrote.

"Eileen & Bob! Still Angelic today!" commented another.

"Bob and Eileen Stillwell. In love as much today as yesterday."

Congratulations to the winner of Patch's Cutest Couple Contest:

New Lenox residents Bob and Eileen Stillwell.

Married 33 years, Bob and Eileen have lived in New Lenox for 20 years. Check out the photo from their wedding day.

Bob and Eileen will receive a giftcard to Chicago hotspot Gather. Known for its superb wines, scrumptious food and cozy setting, Gather could be the perfect place for a night out with your sweetheart.

Buford Pusser February 15, 2013 at 08:19 pm
Out of all the submissions there wasn't a cuter couple. No offense.

The contest was judged by number of comments. Bob and Eileen received the most by far (and yes, I went through and tallied by hand).

Lauren, sounds like buford's not one of the people that you cant please some of the time, they're one of the people you cant please all of the time. Maybe you should do a recount. Did you check for dangling chad?
Bob Laird February 15, 2013 at 08:41 pm
OOPS, double neg. should have read not one of the people that you CAN please some of the time.

Well, Lauren, you've heard the saying "Let no good deed go unpunished." What a way to start your weekend. I enjoyed the contest and can't think of a more deserving example. Thanks for your efforts.

Someone forgot to take their "kind" pills this morning.

Good deed? I mean no offense but how is it a contest when you send in a picture and tell your friends to make comments on it. I find it kinda sad really. No guy would ever do this, you would lose your man card for that. I get that it is just a fun, silly contest, I just seem to find it way more silly than fun.

Bella Cain was a nice surprise last year for a first-time band last year. Nice to see them backRead More this year.

Disappointed once again to not see 7th heaven on the roster. They have the best vocals out there,Read More even without their lead singer Keith Semple who defected to start a solo act. This band actually gets radio air play. Haven't heard any of the others at Oakfest on the radio.

Have any of you whiners ever seen the crowd at OakFest when Infinity is playing?? There are wallRead More to wall people in the tent and out into the grass around the tent! I agree that 7th Heaven was very good as well but maybe their price tag got too high for a neighborhood fest....

Stephanie, not sure how to do so. Joe, thanks for your concern. We are still hoping to find someoneRead More here that may know of the dog. We are not looking to cause it any harm, just looking for information.

I hope that you find the owners of that pet! I bring my black Shepherd up there when we go...oneRead More reason I don't let my dog go with neighbors is because neighbors can't control him like we do. The owners should have been more responsible. I'm glad that your daughter is alright and I hope that you find the owners of this dog!

This was a great event. I was honored to be a part of it. If we are able to do this next year, youRead More won't want to miss this event.

I dare anyone to name a more dangerous intersection then that. The turn from 147th st west bound toRead More southbound Oak Park is the worst I've seen. One slip and your car goes down a ravine 20 feet. The civil engineer and county people who approved that design should be called out. We NEED HELP!
