Add the Punchline to Our Little Red Wagon Cartoon

If you've got wit, add your punchline to Patch's weekly comic and win a personalized print.

Are you blessed with insight and good humor? Or just bored today? Share your wit with your south suburban neighbors by entering Patch's comic caption challenge. Just add your dialogue for today's comic in the comment section of this post. Our only requirement is that you keep it clean!

At week's end, we'll pick the winning punchline based on how many of us here at Patch giggle and smile at your contribution. The user who produces the winning punchline will get a personalized proof of the comic, with the winning words and a credit line, from cartoonist Chuck Ingwersen and Patch.

Congratulations to Joel, who provided the winning punchline to last week's Polar Bear comic:

Oh honey, I'm Bi-Polar.

Hey look at me! Commuting to work and NO carbon footprint!
James December 5, 2012 at 02:45 pm
What are you looking at? It costs me a bag of cookies to and from work and no jibber jabber on a cell phone while driving
Tom December 5, 2012 at 04:18 pm
My other car is a Big Wheel.

David Lawrence Konen December 6, 2012 at 02:31 am

David Lawrence Konen December 6, 2012 at 02:32 am

Despiser of Vera December 6, 2012 at 04:21 am
Oh look, Vera's mommy is taking him for a ride.
Joe Wilson December 6, 2012 at 02:20 pm
I asked for a GPS. I got a G-ail P-atricia S-miley! I should've been more specific, I guess.
JoAnne Poppie December 6, 2012 at 03:45 pm
Oh crap, is this the multiple rider lane?
dawn December 6, 2012 at 07:33 pm
Pardon me, do you have any grey poupon?
David Lawrence Konen December 6, 2012 at 08:00 pm
Dawn, your punchline is JUST as funny, if not FUNNIER, than mine!
David Lawrence Konen December 6, 2012 at 08:44 pm
a VERY funny punchline, at best!
David Lawrence Konen December 6, 2012 at 08:56 pm
a FUNNY one, my good friend - you reminded me of how my mother would drive to work WITH me in the car, so she could use the HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) lane in Houston. I think this was ONE was traffic in Houston lessened.
dawn December 7, 2012 at 01:34 pm
Ah thank you Dave!
David Lawrence Konen December 7, 2012 at 05:22 pm
Your very welcome, Dawn - about the ONLY problem is, I can't drive because of problems I have which are related to seizures. I've been riding bikes for quite a while, only until recently, when my left hip became SO uncomfortable riding on bikes.
BigFatTrouble December 7, 2012 at 06:17 pm
What's the matter? You never heard of the wagon lane!
BigFatTrouble December 7, 2012 at 06:48 pm
Just slipping on by on LSD Friday night trouble bound.
eliyoyo December 7, 2012 at 07:13 pm
Bashar......gotcha!!!
Bob Laird December 7, 2012 at 08:12 pm
I could go east, I could go west, it was all up to me to decide.
dawn December 8, 2012 at 10:16 pm
@dave, yeah driving a car and having a seizure isn't good, I have seen it before on my job (paramedic). I started riding a bike and it hurts my butt bone! Lol I need a good seat . Well good luck to you.
David Lawrence Konen December 9, 2012 at 06:41 am
TELL ME ABOUT THIS. I remember someone who was also named David who worked as a shift manager at a Taco Bell, and I had heard HE was driving a car. Had made me think he was just a "walking time bomb" since I'm sure someday, he'll get into some accident, and be detained by an officer. As for bike seats, usually the BEST thing to do is to put a gel-pack insert (I believe) ON the seat, stretching it so that it would FIT the size of the seat. THAT way, you'd feel a bit more comfortable as you rode bikes.

Bella Cain was a nice surprise last year for a first-time band last year. Nice to see them backRead More this year.
Colleen McAbee June 18, 2013 at 08:28 am
Disappointed once again to not see 7th heaven on the roster. They have the best vocals out there,Read More even without their lead singer Keith Semple who defected to start a solo act. This band actually gets radio air play. Haven't heard any of the others at Oakfest on the radio.
Dutch Oven Chef June 19, 2013 at 09:38 am
Have any of you whiners ever seen the crowd at OakFest when Infinity is playing?? There are wallRead More to wall people in the tent and out into the grass around the tent! I agree that 7th Heaven was very good as well but maybe their price tag got too high for a neighborhood fest....
Robert Quilico June 11, 2013 at 07:31 am
Stephanie, not sure how to do so. Joe, thanks for your concern. We are still hoping to find someoneRead More here that may know of the dog. We are not looking to cause it any harm, just looking for information.

I hope that you find the owners of that pet! I bring my black Shepherd up there when we go...oneRead More reason I don't let my dog go with neighbors is because neighbors can't control him like we do. The owners should have been more responsible. I'm glad that your daughter is alright and I hope that you find the owners of this dog!
Roxana Agler June 9, 2013 at 05:51 pm
Lisa, give me a sneak peek, I can buy something from you before it starts, got anything for theRead More backyard? Roxana

This was a great event. I was honored to be a part of it. If we are able to do this next year, youRead More won't want to miss this event.
Ray June 6, 2013 at 12:50 pm
I dare anyone to name a more dangerous intersection then that. The turn from 147th st west bound toRead More southbound Oak Park is the worst I've seen. One slip and your car goes down a ravine 20 feet. The civil engineer and county people who approved that design should be called out. We NEED HELP!
