Funeral Services Set for Fallen Oak Forest Officer Jim Morrissy
Visitation will be held Friday, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home.
Arrangements have been made for fallen Oak Forest police officer James P. Morrissy.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 21, from 2 to 8 p.m., at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st St. in Orland Park. Funeral service Saturday 11 a.m., at Sheehy & Sons. Interment is private.
Morrissy, 62, died Monday after his squad car was broadsided by another vehicle, while he was en route to assist another officer.
Morrissy is survived by wife Janice, and sons Kyle, Marc and Jake. He is a beloved brother to Michael (Maureen), Colleen, Sean (Cathy) Morrissy and the late Donald and Deborah Morrissy; kind uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews.
