Weekender: Rose Garden Walk, Tie-Dye and More
Looking forward to the weekend? Here's what you can look forward to.
Has the heat got you down? Looking for something cool to do this weekend? Well, Oak Forest Patch has just the thing. Check out these fun activities coming up:
Bring something to tie-dye at , starting at 4 p.m. The will supply all the ingredients and equipment you need to dye shirts, socks, pillow cases or whatever else you bring.
The cost is $3 per item.

Peter Schnieder, rose grower and author of Right Rose Right Place, will be at 15508 Lamon Ave. on Saturday. The rose walk begins at noon and the talk starts at 1 p.m. The event is free and donations will be accepted for the Sauk Trail Rose Society.
A free garage sale runs 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 17256 Arrowhead Trce. It's free to get in. Contact janhboy@yahoo.com for more information.
