Help Cut that Ribbon on the Acorn Public Library!
Staff members hope you'll stop by Acorn Public Library Saturday, for ribbon-cutting festivities, combined with the library's annual holiday open house.
Earlier this week, Oak Forest Patch around the newly renovated . But staff members are hoping you'll pop in to help celebrate the official ribbon-cutting on the revamped space. The changes have been in the works for a year.
The fun starts Saturday, Dec. 10 at 9 a.m., and the ceremony will be followed up with the library's annual holiday open house.
Refreshments will be available, and the following programs will be presented:
10:30 a.m.: Santa will be here with gifts for all ages
12:00 p.m.: Sue Keller's Ragtime Christmas
2:30 p.m.: Children's Holiday Storytime
The library requests that you register in advance with Youth Services for the Santa and storytime programs. Call the for more information.
