Oak Forest Football: Top Plays in Bengal Win at Thornton Fractional North in 1st Round of 6A Playoffs

Oak Forest fell behind 20-0, just seconds into the 2nd quarter before roaring back with 41 unanswered points (27 in the 3rd quarter alone) to defeat TF North 48-26 in the First Round of the 6A IHSA State Playoffs.
Tevin Coleman (#1) ran for 2 TDs (64 & 12) and hooked up with QB Tom Zale (#7) for a 44-yard TD pass play. Zale also rushed for 118 yards and 2 TDs (18 & 1) and Matt Barry (#31) also pounded out 105 yards against the Meteor defense, including 2 TDs (14 & 2).
The Bengal defense gave up 3 big pass plays in the first 13 minutes, but then settled down to hold TF North to minimal yards, giving the Oak Forest explosive offense a chance to catch up.
