Oak Forest Boys Baseball Defeats Bremen behind Pitching of Kyle Czeszewski

Friday night at Standard Bank Stadium, defeated the Bremen Braves 6-0 behind the pitching of Kyle Czeszewski. Czeszewski allowed only one hit, a bloop single just beyond the reach of the Bengal SS. Pitching 6 innings, he threw just 63 pitches and allowed no walks, facing only 21 batters. 2 Braves reached base on errors. Kyle Funkhouser followed up his 6 inning, 103 pitch effort against Richards on Thursday by pitching the 7th. Hundreds of fans braved the cold weather on Friday Night, April 27th, as Oak Forest and Bremen started a new tradition of playing one game a year at the home of the local minor league team—Windy City Thunderbolts in Crestwood at Standard Bank Stadium. Despite the weather, it was a great atmosphere and a great game.
