Oak Forest Bengal Football Video Highlights: Special Teams Shine with 3 TD’s in Victory over Hillcrest 49-12

Oak Forest (5-1) bounced back this week as their Special Teams scored 3 TD’s in the first half. Corey Brent (#3) returned 2 punts for touchdowns (64 and 34 yds.) and Tyler Usterbowski (#2) scored untouched on an 81 yard kickoff return. Oak Forest led at the half 35-6 as Ben Santiago (#23) added 2 touchdowns  in his first game as the starting Fullback. Early in the second half QB Tom Zale (#7) celebrated his return from injury to hit Connor Rago (#17) on a 12 yard pass to close out the scoring.

The Oak Forest defense had another strong game. Even though they let Hillcrest score on two long passes (the only weakness so far in the defense), the Bengals intercepted 3 passes, one each by Corey Brent, Cornerback Jeremy Kurtz (#8) and reserve linebacker Andrew Naegele (#50).  Defensive end Tom Livingston (#9) along with Linebacker Jimmy Rizzuti each had multiple sacks on the Hillcrest QB’s. Livingston also delivered the hit of the game on one of the 8 Hillcrest kickoff returns.

Oak Forest is home this week, facing TF North. Scheduled start time Friday is 7:00pm.
