Oak Forest Bengal Football Video Highlights: Bengals cruise 49-6 with help from 14 fumbles by TF North.

Oak Forest (6-1) recovered 6 of the 14 TF North fumbles on Friday on their way to a 49-6 victory. The first quarter was close, with only Oak Forest’s Kyle Hullinger (#5) scoring on a 20 yard run. A fumble in the end zone and a holding penalty prevented Corey Brent (#3) from scoring twice in the quarter. The second quarter is where the Bengals got their act together. On a 4th and goal from the 4, QB Tom Zale (#7) rolled out on a bootleg and took it in for a TD. On their next possession QB Nick Ciufia (#15) hit Tyler Usterbowski (#2) for a 12 yard pass. With just under 3 minutes left in the half, Brent took a handoff from Zale and ran past the Meteor defense for a 64 yard TD. The Bengals added one more TD before the half as DT Andrew McCann (#54) recovered a fumble at the TF North 17, and somehow managed to stay on his feet long enough to cross the goal line. McCann and DE Tom Livingston (#9) spent more time in the Meteor backfield then they did in the Bengal huddles. TF North fumbled 8 times in the first half, losing 3 of them, with LB Alec Brown (#44), along with McCann and Brent recovering them. Two of those fumbles were caused by hits from Bengal Safety Blake Waller (#10). The Bengals had fumbling issues of their own in the game, coughing the ball up 5 times, losing 4 of them; 2 of those in the first half.

In the third quarter, Ciufia again hit Usterbowski with a short pass and Usterbowski turned it into a 58 yard TD. FB Ben Santiago (#23) finished the scoring with a 5 yard run in the middle of the 3rd quarter. Other Bengals who recovered Meteor fumbles in the second half were Livingston, Usterbowski and reserve tackle Jonathan Gale (#75).
