Oak Forest (7-1), on Senior Night, played its most complete game of the season so far as the defense completely shut down Tinley Park, allowing only 88 total yards. CB Kyle Czeszewski (#11) had 2 interceptions and DE Tom Livingston (#9) continued to be a QB sack machine. On special teams, Corey Brent (#3) returned another punt for a TD this week, a 60 yarder. On offense, the Bengals opened it up as QB Tom Zale (#7) threw a season high 9 passes, completing 5 for 150 yards (30 yard average per completion) and 2 TD’s. The first was to Kyle Hullinger (#5) from 29 yards, the second closed out the scoring early in the 3rd quarter as Zale hit Tyler Usterbowski (#2) on a 67 yard pass play. The Bengals offense shared the ball better than most basketball teams, as Hullinger added an 11 yard TD run, FB Ben Santiago (#23) had 66 yards and a TD on 8 carries, Zale added 72 yards rushing on 5 carries, Usterbowski added 41 yards on only 4 carries, and Nick Ciufia (#15) had 55 yards on 5 carries including a 4 yard TD run.

Before the game, a moment of silence was held in Tribute to Andrew Weisher, 21, a 2005 Graduate of St. Damian, who passed away that morning after a 3 year battle with cancer. Oak Forest travels to TF South this week, where a win gives the Bengals a share of the Conference Title.
