I have never been one to count my wealth in dollars and cents and its times like
these that this perspective came in handy. Our recent vacation to Las Vegas, which included 23 people, was a big success in every way…every way that doesn’t involve financial profit that is. The birthday girl actually did quite well, cashing in her ‘beginners luck token’ to the tune of $500 in the first 30 minutes of her 21st birthday while most of the rest of us did our civic duty to ensure that bustling city continues to thrive. And even though the odd$ were not in my favor, the investment in enjoyment had big payoffs for Juliana. Her main objective was to spend time with Chris and she made no secret of sharing that single minded goal with anyone who asked her what she anticipated most.
Much to Cheyenne’s dismay, the birthday festivities were a distant second to her long awaited moments with Chris. Juliana would be the first to admit her time with Chris was worth far more to her than anything a roulette table could offer. (to read more visit www.forjuliana.org)
