'Toys for Tots' Underway in Oak Forest

The Oak Forest Police Department is heading up an effort to help children in need enjoy their Christmas.

The community is invited to help spread holiday cheer to those in need by participating in the "Toys for Tots" drive.

A national charity run by the U.S. Marines, Toys for Tots collects new, unwrapped toys for local children in need. All donated toys should be new in sealed boxes and dropped off unwrapped by Friday, Dec. 13.

Drop off location is at City Hall. For more information, contact Sgt. Scott Durano at SDurano@Oak-Forest.org.
