GiGi's Playhouse Seeks Gift Basket Donations

GiGi's Playhouse is looking for gift baskets to raffle off during its annual "Supper with Santa" event Dec. 8. 

"Perhaps some holiday-themed baskets or baskets specifically for a child or teen," said Diane Husar, site coordinator for GiGi's. "We are really open to anything. People just love baskets!" 

The Supper with Santa event will take place Dec. 8, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the GiGi's Playhouse location, 5400 W. 159th St. The event will feature food, soda, activities for children, singing and stories. Anyone interested in donating should email Diane Husar at dhusar@gigisplayhouse.org.

GiGi's, a local chapter of national network of Down syndrome support and education centers, is new to Oak Forest and celebrated its grand opening Sept. 29. For more on the organization, like them on Facebook.
