Find St. Baldrick's Day Events in the Southland
If you're feeling braver with each bald photo you see, maybe you can fit one of these into your schedule.
It's happened. Your Facebook and Instagram feeds are flooded with photos of people shaving it all off for a good cause.
St. Baldrick's Day, a volunteer-driven charity that raises funds to help find cures for childhood cancers is in full swing. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a national non-profit organization that raises money for childhood cancer research. Volunteers with the organization typically host special events in which they shave their heads in solidarity with children who lost their hair during cancer treatment.
Think bald will look good on you? If you're feeling emboldened by your friends' pictorial triumphs in fundraising, we've put together a list of area St. Baldrick's Day events that you can still attend. Call ahead to ensure they'll accept walk-ins.
