Community Corner
The Lyceum: Freethinking Conversations
The Lyceum is a new topical conversation group not a
book club. We will discuss social, political, cultural and economic
issues through logical analysis. Our first conversation will be on the uses and benefits of philosophy in contemporary society.
The ability to participate in a healthy debate is the foundation of an engaged citizen. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings. The opinions expressed are not those of the library, but of the attendees.
The Lyceum meets quarterly. Meetings will be held in September, December, March, and June to discuss current issues.
