Pink Slip Boutique Celebrates 5 Years With ‘The Pretty In Pink Slip’ Anniversary Gala

Mokena, IL – July 9th, 2013 – Pink Slip Boutique is celebrating their five-year anniversary by hosting the “Pretty In Pink Slip Gala” on August 11, 2013 at 6pm– a fashion forward shopping event and
fashion show collective. The shop, located at 18907 S. Wolf Road in Mokena is inviting old and new clients
alike to enjoy butler served appetizers, hors d’oeurves, desserts, as well as cocktails, mocktails, while
viewing looks from 60 local models.

With beautifully designed tents, to the model’s special prop, the Gala will be a retrospective of the store’s
five years. The shop will be stocked with this year’s homecoming, boutique clothing, and invitation
collections. All items will be offered at a 25% discount as a courtesy to all Gala attendees.

Owner Lauren McKeague is thrilled to be celebrating five years at the boutique. “In five years, my store
has grown exponentially. The shop is continually changing into something bigger than I ever set out to
create. I am proud to have included our community every step of the way and we are very excited for
what the next five years bring.”

McKeague was recently awarded the “Emerging Alumni” award at Fashion Columbia, an event hosted by
Columbia College Chicago, Lauren’s Alma Mater. “Over the years we have added all types of dress lines,
from casual collections, to boutique, to ready-to-wear pieces, and now we even design invitations,
decorations, and special events. Our goal is to be a one-stop destination shopping trip for the client who
truly wants a special product and excellent service.” Lauren is also excited to style a more upscale evening
for the Gala. “We wanted to host an event that would really make our client feel special; like a part of our
family. We kept it simple, while still being significant.

The Gala is open to the public. Tickets are on online at www.pinkslipboutique.come, in the shop, or over
the phone. Tickets are $10 each and include food, one drink and admission to the show. Tickets are sold
on a first-come first-served basis.
