Art Teacher wanted for children’s art class

Union Street Gallery in Chicago Heights, IL is looking for an art teacher to teach a 6 week art basics coarse to children ages 8-12. Class is held Saturday March 1-April 5, 1-2:30pm.  Compensation is $300 for the full 6 weeks. Compensation is for both class time and any prep time. No travel expenses included. Compensation is not negotiable. Must have car to get to location.

The purpose of this class is to teach the basics of 2-D and 3-D media to children from the community with little art experience. Class must be mostly hands-on and projects must be tailored to the student’s skill level. Supplies provided by gallery.
