Genesis Therapy Believes

Every child deserves a new beginning

Every year close to 100,000 children are victims of child abuse in
the State of Illinois. Cook County alone is responsible for 35,000 of these
reported cases. Who helps mistreated and neglected children in our area? The
Genesis Therapy Center.

The Genesis Therapy Center's Children's services not only help
those victimized by abuse and domestic violence, we also help children coping
with grief and loss of a loved one, divorce, blended family issues, learning
disabilities, school related issues and much more. In fact, Genesis is the only
center of its kind serving Chicago's southern suburbs with such a comprehensive
array of assistance programs.

Genesis believes that no child should be denied the opportunity to
heal, grow and thrive. Part of our mission is to provide a wide range of
financial resources so all can receive high quality therapy. We are asking your
help to continue this mission.

Every year The Genesis Therapy Center hosts its Annual KidPower
Benefit. The evening usually consists of a silent auction, raffle, buffet
dinner and entertainment. All proceeds go directly to our Children's Services
and we're asking local businesses to help us in making our annual fundraiser a
success.

This year we are adding electronic bidding and a trivia contest.
