A relative dropped Oak Forest teen Breann Duffus at a Midlothian train station Friday night, and family members have not seen or heard from her since.

Breann, 15, is described as 5-foot-3, 170 pounds. She has black hair and blue eyes, and two lip piercings of an "x" and an "o." Her nose is pierced with a blue stud. Her tongue is also pierced, with a pink stud. She was last seen wearing a black Oak Forest High School hoodie, black leggings under denim shorts, carrying a black purse with a pink Playboy bunny on it.

The friend Breann told family she was going to see has not spoken with her in weeks, she told Breann's mother Dorothy Burns.

Burns has since contacted Midlothian and Oak Forest police departments.

"She is 15, she does have attitude, but she's not a runaway," Burns said. "She's a tough cookie. She's ballsy."

Burns contacted her daughter's cell phone carrier and called the last number Breann dialed (at 9:56 a.m. Saturday). Breann's call went unanswered, but records show the call was immediately returned. Burns did not recognize the number, or the family on the other end. To Burns' knowledge, Breann is not dating anybody.

Burns, who describes Breann as a "cross between gothic and emo" wants her to come home, safe and sound.

"If she comes home, there's no grounding, there's no punishment," she said. "As long as she comes home safe and sound, it's all forgotten the minute she walks in the door."

If you have seen or spoken with Breann, please call Dorothy Burns at (708)250-1488.
