The city reminds residents that when curb and gutter are removed in front of a driveway, the resident will not be allowed to park in the driveway for 7 to 10 days in order to give the new concrete sufficient time to "cure" to support the weight of vehicular traffic. Curb and driveway apron replacements will be limited to one side of the street at a time to allow for on-street parking while the new concrete is curing, according to the city's website.
