2011 Election: Early Voting Starts Today

Visit City Hall during normal business hours to cast your vote ahead of time.

Residents looking to cast their votes early can do so beginning today.

If you decide to vote early, remember to bring a government-issued photo ID such as a passport, driver’s license, or military ID. All early voting is conducted on touch screens.

State law requires early voters to display valid identification to an election official before receiving a ballot to vote early, according to the Cook County Clerk's website. Valid forms of ID include: a current driver’s license, state-issued ID card or another government-issued ID with a photograph.
