Closed, Please Come Again: Local Places Observing New Year's Holiday

Which places in town are closed today? Before you head out, check out our quick-hit list of places observing the holiday.

You're off of work today and would love to cross a few items off that To-Do List. It makes sense.

But because New Year's Day fell on a Sunday this year, today is the observed  holiday.

So before you go, make sure you check this list of places closed in observance of the holiday. It looks like that letter will have to wait one more day.

The following places will be closed for the holiday.

Closed Saturday, Dec. 31 through Monday, Jan. 2. Will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 9 a.m.

NuWay will be closed Monday, Jan. 2. Trash pickup will be delayed by one day.
