Chris Medina Floored by $70,000 in Donations for Fiancée Juliana Ramos

In a radio interview on Los Angeles station 102.7 KIIS FM, actor Topher Grace and producer Ryan Kavanaugh told listeners they'll contribute to recovery fund for Juliana Ramos. In addition, Proactiv and Guthy Renker also donated $35,000.

The ripples of the love story have reached Hollywood.

Chris Medina appeared on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Thursday, March 3, followed shortly afterward by actor Topher Grace and producer Ryan Kavanaugh–who had some news for Medina.

Grace and Kavanaugh announced they will donate $35,000 to the Laurus Foundation, in Juliana's name. They also agreed to donate 1 percent of proceeds from the movie box office opening of their movie Take Me Home Tonight, which opens Friday, March 4.  Listen to the interview here, and watch Medina's reaction to the donations here. Kavanaugh set one condition for the box office proceeds—that Seacrest set up a counter that will enable Medina to watch as the funds roll in.

The duo's donation was tacked on to another $35,000 donation from Proactiv and Guthy Renker, according to the Kiis website.

"Their story is amazing, the way he handled himself, just in the situation is amazing," Grace said. "But then to do it nationally and serve as an example for so many people, that's cool, it's been impressive."
