Darín plays restaurateur Rafael Belvedere in the comedy-drama "Son of the Bride." Belvedere makes his living managing the restaurant started by his father Nino, and the stress of his work and tensions within his family are beginning to frazzle him. Nino plans to renew his wedding vows and give his Alzheimer's-stricken wife the church service they couldn't afford during their youth. But arranging the affair turns out to be far more complicated than they expect, and leads to profound changes for the whole family.

“Nine Queens,” a crime drama, opens with low-level hustler Juan trying to scam a convenience store cashier. Marcos (Darín), claiming to be a police officer, drags Juan out of the store. But Marcos reveals himself as a fellow swindler with a game of higher stakes in mind, and he invites Juan to be his partner in crime. A seemingly once-in-a-lifetime scheme falls into their laps – an aging con man enlists them to sell a forged set of extremely valuable rare stamps known as the Nine Queens. The tricky negotiations that ensue bring into the picture a cast of suspicious characters, including Marcos' sister Valeria, their younger brother Federico and a slew of thieves, con men and pickpockets. As the deceptions mount, it becomes more and more difficult to figure out who is conning whom.

The crime thriller “The Secret in Their Eyes” features Darín as Benjamin, a former criminal court employee in Argentina who wants to write a novel about the rape and murder of a young woman during the 1970's. A series of flashbacks set up the story, during which Argentina has fallen under the control of a military junta and fair trials are scarce. Benjamin teams up with his friend Pablo to hunt for the true perpetrator. They struggle to have the case reopened, but find that bureaucracy and power in Argentine government have made this close to impossible.
