You don't have to be Burt Reynolds to see the Pontiac Firebird from the cult-classic Smokey and the Bandit. Just head on down to today, where a replica of the iconic car and many other classics will be on display at the Car and Bike Show.

“It's for you to walk around and see the cars people grew up with,” said fest chairman Joseph Koce of the show. “It's history. There's such a variety.”

Cars and bikes old and new—including a '57 Chevy, Delorean, monster truck and World War II motorcycle—will be lined up along the fest grounds to satisfy your every two-to-four-wheel curiosity.

The Fab Five

Catch the soundwaves of surf cover band 13 Tikis, who'll bring sax-driven garage-rock to the main stage from 11 a.m., until 1 p.m.

With “rockin' rhythms ... three part harmonies and lyrics straight from the heart,” south suburban rock band Billy's Boys will take the stage from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

K.O. Bossy has played countless venues from across the Chicago area, and today from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., the classic rock cover band will play yet another on the main stage.

CoverGurl isn't easy or breezy, but the cover band sure can rock a setlist. To hear chart-toppers by the Beatles, Pearl Jam and Weezer, check them out from 6 p.m., until 9 p.m.

Kneel and praise the rock gods for local cover band Infinity, “the ultimate tribute to Journey, Bon Jovi, Boston, Styx, REO, Van Halen and 80's to current hits,” who'll take the stage from 9 p.m. to midnight.”

Carnival Craze

When's the last time you tossed a ping-pong ball into a goldfish bowl, or rode the carousel and Dragon Wagon? If it's been a while, you can enjoy them until your heart's content tonight, from noon, until midnight.

Bingo!

From 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., you can try your luck at the bingo table. Bingo cards are only 50 cents a piece or three for $1. There's no limit to the number of cards you can play at one time, but you must be 18 with a valid drivers license or state ID to play.

Oak Fest, which will be held at 159th Street and Central Avenue, runs until Monday, July 4. Check back with Oak Forest Patch, where we'll feature the events you can't miss (though the whole fest sounds amazing) each morning of Oak Fest.
