Pet Food Company Shoots Commercial in Oak Forest
A TV commercial crew was in the city Wednesday shooting an ad for Pedigree dog food, which will feature a local family, an Oak Forest spokeswoman said.
Oak Forest residents soon might be seeing a bit of their hometown popping up on TV in between episodes of their favorite shows.
A film crew was in the city Wednesday on a one-day shoot for an upcoming Pedigree dog food commercial, which will feature an Oak Forest family, a city spokeswoman confirmed.
The commercial's production crew submitted a special events form via the city's website to request permission to film in Oak Forest, said Chrissy Maher, the city's public relations coordinator. The family that the pet food company is spotlighting had recently adopted a dog, she said, adding that she didn't wish to disclose their name until she had contacted them.
On Wednesday, July 17, a Patch reader spotted a car rigged with cameras with an Oak Forest police escort traveling south along Central Avenue.
