Parents, Kids Go Wild at Back to School Shopping Event
The weather held up for parents and kids to enjoy back to school shopping and activities Saturday, Aug. 13.
Pencils? Check. Backpack? Check. Fun with back to school shopping? Check.
To help parents get a jump on stocking up on back to school supplies, Oak Forest Commons held its fourth annual collaborative shopping event Saturday, Aug. 13. With a DJ, grilling by Oak Forest firefighters, an animal show and more, the west end of the parking lot transformed into shopping, with a show. The day also included a backpack safety check, bike safety tips, and a coloring contest.
