LOOK & ADD: Residents Show Off their Holiday Spirit at City's Tree Lighting
Despite the cold, a large, spirited crowd turned out for the city's tree lighting festivities Saturday, Dec. 10. Check out our photos, and add your own!
It might have been cold, but there was no snow, no rain—and nothing could keep Oak Forest residents from the 's Christmas
The crowds lined Central Avenue for the parade, which featured local clubs, civic organizations, music from the marching band, and more. The parade marched up to the gazebo outside City Hall, where dancers from the got toes tapping.
The audience counted down to flip the switch that got the tree sparkling. Afterward, residents stopped into , where Santa and Mrs. Claus heard kids' Christmas wishes and posed for photos.
