Last Chance for Health Screenings

Oak Forest will host Life Line Screenings on Tuesday, Oct. 30. The will be held at the Oak Forest Community Center and requires preregistration.

The City of Oak Forest is set to hold Life Line Screenings Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Oak Forest Community Center, 15501 S. Kilpatrick Avenue.

Screenings provided include tests to check for blocked carotid arteries, atrial fibrillation, and high blood pressure. Other tests check for abdominal aortic aneurysms. Also available, will be blood tests, including cholesterol, glucose and protein screenings, as well as take-home colon cancer early detection tests.

Screening packages begin at $119, while single tests cost about $60; take-home colorectal cancer tests kits are $45.
