Just Like the Good 'Old Times': Community Comes Together for Picnic
The annual community event, sponsored by the Oak Forest Park District, drew a crowd of thousands for grilling, games and good times.
In a time of technology overload, thousands of Oak Forest residents left behind the laptops for a deck of cards, a blanket—and the company of friends.
The 's annual Old Times Picnic Sunday, Sept. 4 filled Commissioners Park with family and friends kicked back enjoying camaraderie and a cold one, maybe even with some volleyball, live music from The Walk-ins, and more.
