It looks like Mother Nature finally decided to get on-board with the whole "summer" idea—and Gingerwood Pool is ready and waiting for swimmers to jump right in.
The pool opens for the season at noon Saturday, June 14. 2 Sisters Frozen Custard will be available for purchase.
Pool hours are noon to 8 p.m. daily. Must be at least 16 years old to swim alone. Membership for Oak Forest residents is $8 daily swim. Membership $200 for family of five; $10 for each additional member. Cash or check only. Must bring proof of residency. Party rentals also available for Oak Forest residents only.
