Gingerwood Pool Good to Go for Saturday Opening
Pool President Gail Werr is excited to unveil improvements to Gingerwood Pool Saturday, June 4.
It looks like Mother Nature finally decided to get on-board with the whole "summer" idea—and is ready and waiting for swimmers to jump right in.
After a week delay due to unseasonably chilly and rainy weather, the pool will open Saturday, June 4, pool president Gail Werr tells Patch.
Pool hours are noon to 8 p.m. daily. A daily guest pass for Oak Forest residents is $5. Must be at least 16 years old to swim alone. Membership for Oak Forest residents is $160 for a family of 5, add $5 for each additional member, and $100 for a single member.
