GiGi's Playhouse Seeks Candy Donations for Halloween Party

Think you went a little overboard with the Halloween candy? GiGi's Playhouse will happily accept your extras.

Oak Forest residents who bought an extra bag of Halloween candy, GiGi's Playhouse would be happy to take it off your hands.

GiGi's welcomes donations of any candy not containing nuts for its Halloween party Sunday, Oct. 27, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Anyone willing can drop candy off at the playhouse prior to Sunday, so the staff can plan how much extra to purchase. The house is located at 5400 W. 159th St., near the rear of the building.

GiGi's, a local chapter of national network of Down syndrome support and education centers, is new to Oak Forest and celebrated its grand opening Sept. 29. For more on the organization, like them on Facebook.
