Returning Veterans Golf Outing

The Returning Veterans Golf Outing is Oak Forest's way of saying thank you to veterans for protecting our freedom and allowing us to live the “high life.”

The event is completely free to all Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, who are at least 21 years old. No strings attached. All you need to do is sign up your foursome and show up and play. Only veterans can golf and eat.

However, the city is inviting your family to join us after dinner for a private fireworks show in your honor.

Registration and lunch will be from noon to 2 p.m. There will be a shotgun start at 2 p.m. The event will use a best ball/scramble scoring system. Each golfer will tee off and all four golfers will play the best shot per hole.

Golfers must bring their own clubs. Each golfer will be issued three golf balls, a set of tees, divot repair tool, and golf towel.
