Planning is underway for the 5th Annual Tinley Park Brew and Vine Festival. This year’s festival is set for Saturday, April 12, 2014, from 4 to 10 p.m. and will be held at the Tinley Park Convention Center, located at 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue.
The Chamber has secured extra space at the convention center this year for the enjoyment of guests. The Fest will cover 58,000 square feet and include more than 70 beer, wine and food booths providing a wide array of samples. Vendors participating this year include many of the same from last year: Coopers Hawk, Rock Bottom, Crispin Cider, August Hill Winery, Lagunitas, Horse Thief Hollow, Wild Blossom, and many more.
Tickets are now available online at www.tinleyparkbrewandvinefest.com. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $28 or at the door for $35. Tickets include admission, wine or beer tasting glass, 12 taste tickets, and live entertainment. All participants must be age 21 or over and have a valid ID to enter the fest. A limited number of tickets are available.
“We are extremely excited to present our 5th Annual Brew and Vine Fest. With the added space at the Tinley Park Convention Center, this year’s event is certain to be the best yet,” said Theresa Nolan, President of the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce.
The Tinley Park Brew and Vine Festival is unique from other tasting events as it offers tastings for both fine wines and craft beers, as well as gourmet foods. Attendees can enjoy tastings from popular venues from the surrounding area as well as other award winning statewide selections. There will also be live bands drumming up great music throughout the event. Scheduled to perform are The Real Gone, and The Hat Guys.
Designated driver tickets will be available at the door for $10, which include 4 food tasting tickets. Complimentary water and coffee will be available for designated drivers.
