Bremen Youth Services to Host Town Hall on Underage Drinking

The event is free for all township community members to attend.

Bremen Youth Services will hold a town hall meeting May 19, focusing on underage drinking education and prevention.

The event will feature speaker David Lee from Intervention Services, in addition to public agencies providing information on awareness, education, intervention and prevention.

The event is sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, which holds national town hall meetings every two years to educate communities about underage drinking and to mobilize them around its prevention.

"Our goal is to discuss the problem, resources for parents and families, and to bring the community together to address this," said Laura Lorenz, of Bremen Youth Services.
